Analysis of Classic Jacket Styles and Craftsmanship

1. MA-1 bomber jacket

  • Fabric: Nylon ripstop fabric, filled with polyester fiber cotton.
  • Key design features: a distinctive combination pocket on the left arm (zippered pocket + pen holder); an orange lining for easy identification in emergency situations; ribbed collar, cuffs, and hem; and a two-way zipper design.
  • High-end upgrade: High-density nylon (such as 1000D Cordura) is used, the inner lining is removable, and the zipper is replaced with waterproof YKK Vislon. Many jacket manufacturer​ options offer custom bomber jacket​ versions with personalized colors, linings, and embroidery.
